About Dada Keys

I made Dada Keys for my kid. He is two and a half. Some days he climbs onto my desk and smashes the keyboard like it is a drum. I did not want to keep pulling him away, and I did not want a Word file full of jjjjjjj.

We tried other baby typing sites and smash keyboard games. A lot of them felt thin after a minute. I wanted something he would actually laugh at: big pictures, silly sounds, cars and dinosaurs showing up when he hits the keys.

So this is a toddler keyboard website I built for him, and for other little hands that find a laptop before they find a puzzle. Pick a theme, then let him mash keys, click the mouse, or tap the screen. No levels, no “you lose,” no tiny buttons. Just smash, look, and giggle.

What he can smash

There are 12 themes: cars, trucks, trains, planes, farm, dinosaurs, ocean, bugs, fruit, rainbow, rockets, and balloons. Each smash plays a sound and a big picture. If he is on a tablet, it works as a children’s touch screen game too.
